I'm in the process of enrolling in a medical transcriptionist course, I'll be taking my classes online through Everett Community College, it's a AAMT approved school. Is this a good job for a mom who wants to work from home? I'm not looking to get rich doing it, just want a real work from home job.

I have been a medical transcriptionist for over 20 years and can honestly say have done nothing but grow in my career, especially with the ever-changing technology. It is a very good direction, especially for a home-based occupation. It will require discipline, however, when working from home. Good luck
